1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Worth It! platform (the "Service"), operated by Worth It! LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
2. Description of Service
Worth It! is an AI-powered business valuation platform. Users upload financial documents (e.g., tax returns, financial statements) which are processed by automated artificial intelligence systems to generate valuation reports. The Service includes document extraction, financial analysis, systematic rules-based calculations, and professional PDF report generation.
Reports are generated by automated AI systems and have not been reviewed by certified appraisers. The valuations provided are estimates and should not be used as the sole basis for financial, legal, or transactional decisions. Users are advised to consult qualified professionals for certified appraisals.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@worthit.app.
4. Payment Terms
The Service offers both one-time report purchases and recurring subscription plans. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- One-Time Purchases: Payment is charged at the time of purchase. Access to the purchased report is granted upon successful payment.
- Subscriptions: Recurring charges will be billed at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: See our Refund Policy for full details. In short: if report generation fails, you receive a full refund automatically; if your upload isn't a supported document type, you won't be charged; and if you believe a delivered report contains an error, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a regeneration or refund. A successfully delivered, accurate report is not refundable simply because you disagree with the valuation conclusion.
Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
5. AI Disclaimer
The valuation reports generated by Worth It! are produced by automated AI systems and are not certified appraisals. Specifically:
- Reports have not been reviewed, approved, or certified by any licensed appraiser, CPA, or financial professional.
- AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
- Valuations are estimates based on the documents provided and publicly available industry data. They do not account for all factors that may affect business value.
- Reports should not be used as the sole basis for buy/sell decisions, financing, litigation, tax filings, or any other legal or financial purpose without independent professional verification.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
6. Financial Document Handling
When you upload financial documents to the Service:
- Documents are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (Supabase) for the duration needed to process your report.
- Document contents are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic/Claude) for extraction and analysis. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
- Uploaded documents are automatically deleted after 90 days unless you request earlier deletion.
- We do not sell, share, or distribute your financial documents to any party other than the AI processing providers necessary to deliver the Service.
7. Scanned PDF Data Handling
The Service processes scanned PDF documents using optical character recognition (OCR) and AI vision capabilities. Extracted text and data are used solely for the purpose of generating your valuation report. Raw extracted data is stored temporarily during processing and is not retained beyond the report generation lifecycle unless required for quality assurance.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Upload documents you do not have authorization to use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, algorithms, or proprietary methodologies used by the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute reports generated by the Service without our written consent.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond its intended interface.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Worth It! LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Reports generated for you are licensed for your personal or internal business use. You may share reports with your clients, advisors, or financial institutions as needed. You may not commercially redistribute reports or use them to build competing products.
You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process those documents solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORTH IT! LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE;
- ANY ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES IN AI-GENERATED REPORTS OR VALUATIONS;
- ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE;
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS OR YOUR DATA.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Worth It! LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service will cease immediately.
- We may delete your account data, including uploaded documents and generated reports, after a 30-day grace period.
- Any amounts owed for services already rendered will remain due and payable.

13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
